Dupont Multipurpose Dry Lube With Teflon

I'm not happy with several chain lubes that I've tried to date and would like to try the Dupont multipurpose dry lube that others have recommended on this site. I have not been able to locate this product in Vancouver. Maybe it doesn't get distibuted in Canada. Does anybody know a Canadian distributor? Failing that I'll pick some up on my next trip south of the border. Which big box stores carry it in the US?

Thanks,
NordStrom

Lowes carries it...and several online places sells it by the case...which may be a good option if you can't locate it in Canada.

I need to find another supplier too. I'm in Ft. Wayne, IN., we have 3 Lowe's here in town & they all quit carrying it earlier this year.

I live in my own little world, but it's OK, they know me here.

If you have any "ACE Hardware" stores nearby they carry it. Good luck.

Try this.

I called Dupont a few years ago and was told they do not have a Canadian Distributor so I have been using Super Lube which is the same Telfon based lubricant I use on my Mountain Bike. I have been using it for over 12000km and the chain shows no wear. Here is the link:

Lowe's carries it, but ASAIK, so far, they're only in Ontario. If you cross the border by car from time-to-time, bring some back. If not, send me a PM and I'll see if I can help.

We use DuPont Multipurpose exclusively, and aside from being cheap, it doesn't fling off or drip, and seems to work great.

Lowes in Bellingham. Ace Hardware in Linden. Call first to make sure they have enough to make it worthwhile going.

Gunk has a similar lube called Liquid Wrench Dry Lube with PTFE. You can get it at most Lordco outlets. I have also heard Boeshield T9 works well, and you can get that at Lee Valley. I had not thought about Super Lube, but just checked their web page, and it sounds similar to the DuPont product.

Bellingham big box stores. Lowes is easy to find and had lots and lots of it on display right up front. Buy 2 cans, have lunch somewhere and ride home.
Goggle Lowes locations and they will map it out for you. It's so easy even this caveman did it.
