Each little unit has two screw holes that go completely through and they come with a pair of very small self tapping screws. I just drilled two tiny holes into the bottom of the handguards. (It is very soft plastic) The screws went in perfectly. I was worried that they would stick up too far inside the handguard and I'd have to trim them, but it's not an issue.
The LED units also come with velcro, but I decided not to use that.
The wires now run along the bottom of the handguard on the inside where they are virtually invisible. The handguard offers a little shelf that is perfect for that. I just taped them down with some black duct tape, but you could use some kind of adhesive if you wanted to be professional.
