what size is the givi racks?

I am thinking of getting the happy trail mounting pucks and the givi racks,,I need to know the size of the tubing of the givi racks to order the right mounts

I have heard they are between 5/8" and 3/4" diameter. I am not sure if you could get the pucks for 3/4" racks to work, but I know of somebody who used the 5/8" pucks to work using a couple of fender washers to space them out enough to grab the racks.

I too am trying to decide if I want to go this route to attach my Caribou or Pelican boxes or if I want to spend the big money on the ALS mounts.

A quick measuer with the calipers shows them at .631 which would be 5/8.

08 DL650 - Yellow
