I heard Suzuki will take the engine and rear tire from the M109 and put them on the Strom. They will raise the seat/frame height 4 inches. Also the windscreen will be taller and narrower.

Other than that it will stay the same.

I heard they are discontinuing the DL1000 and adding an ABS option. And increasing the MSRP due to currency fluctuations.

I heard the wee will now use the 650 thumper engine from the S40, will come in pink, and will have tassels on the bar ends.

I heard there will be a diesel option for better fuel economy.

This is the 'make crap up about the next year model' thread, right?

They are adding training wheels to the Vee, in hopes of getting me to trade.

C'mon guys, that's his first post. I mean, he's asking an honest question and really wants to know.....oh, he's from Canada.....

My dealer friend told me that due to all of the criticism Suzuki's gotten about wind buffeting, they're going to increase the front rake and lower the seat to the point where you're sitting back so far that your hand position will actually be slightly below you knees. We'll all look like we're riding recumbent wee's.

Welcome to the site--we're all a bunch of yahoo's.

Hi Al,

Welcome to the site. What they are trying to tell you is "no, we have no idea". You are welcome to search the site for loads of speculation, but you will have to wait to know for sure.

Personally I believe they are dropping the DL1000 this year and OEM'ng the BMW R1200GS and calling it the G-String.
