Exclamation 14 k 1st year

It's me, it's me it's Eddie. First year on V. 14 K. No problems as of yet, other than dying at stop signs, probably gonna try to raise the idle a tad to see if that helps. May be let the stealership have a crack at it at valve check. Also went to the Conti Road Attack. Lots smoother and responsive. Darn I love this bike

I've had mine for almost two years and I've only got 8300 so far. I haven't had any issues, but I will need a new rear tire pretty soon.

14K is a good start. Do get the valve clearances checked. The poll at https://www.stromtrooper.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=43389 indicates the great majority of DL1000s need an adjustment at first check as do almost half of DL650s. Raising the idle of a DL1000 to the book minimum 1100-1200rpm is a typical cure for stalling at idle.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
See https://www.stromtrooper.com/general...nicknames.html

Please vote in the poll on what Strom(s) you have at https://www.stromtrooper.com/informa...-you-have.html
