JCW boxes

Been reading a lot of posts about folks using the Jc Whitney boxes. I did see a post stating that jcw was using a few different suppliers and people were getting mixed results using them on Givi mounts. I have a knock off jcw box (yes a knock off of a knock off) I have the amoto rack for the top and it doesn't fit. I bolted it down no problem but want my side cases removable. Any one have any recent experience with the jcw product and its givi compatability? Been looking at the regular large size to use on the side.

Cheers from Indianapolis, Daryl

I believe the large size will work with the Givi rack with just a little bit of shaving on the slots for the lower mounts.

I used a pair as side boxes up to AK and back and they did just fine.

The smaller boxes aren't necessarily compatible however.

3 JCW boxes here and I got them all this season. You have to trim just a bit to get them to fit on the Givi side racks. IMO the JCW bags fit tighter on the Givi racks than on the plate that comes with them. I will update the rear plate to a Givi plate one of these days.

Here is a shot of mine taken just a few weeks ago.
