I may regret it, but sold my Weestrom today.

Hopefully will be on a Versys by spring. Over the last 50 years, Kawasakis have always been my favorites. For now, I'm down to just my 1250 Bandit. I enjoyed my time here, and may lurk on the board a bit out of habit, but for the most part, it's time to move on. My best to all, ride safe folks!

Between the 2, I would have sold the Bandit 1250.

I had a Kawi xrx1200r while a friend had first a 1200 bandit, then a 1250 bandit. We traded bikes often and I very much preferred the zrx1200 to either big bandit of his.

no reason to leave, there are a number of people here who are on a different bike. I am still on a scooter site and that scooter is long gone. there are good people there and there are good people here.

Cheers

As you know my other bike is a Kawasaki. Good luck in the spring with the new Versys and keep in touch. It looks as though your color choices are black or white, but other markets must get it in green.

The green ones are faster.

The good news is if you do end up regretting the sale for your DL Suzuki made more than a couple of them so there is always an example for sale not to far away.

When I visit my buddy in Toledo, Ohio (I'm in Pennsylvania), I'll ride his Versys 650 when we go out riding. I'm 6'2" and I prefer my 650XT V-Strom: Bigger, stronger, better gauges, etc.

It's not about something better, just something different. I've had 3 Vstroms, there could someday be a 4th. Not a big deal. There's no reason to be defensive, lol. And, the Bandit will probably be in jeopardy come spring. I have the attention span of a gnat, and it's "painfully" clear my riding years are coming to an end very soon.

Which Versys, small, medium, or large? I test rode the 650 and 1000 in August, here's my quick write up.
