Shipping bike from CT to Arizona area

Anybody ship their V-strom from the Northeast area near NY or CT to Arizona or NV? Planning to fly out and pick my V-strom to then ride through the desert in 2020.
Time of trip is not locked in and destination is to be determined. Wondering what general costs are and what company you would recommend. General guidance, feedback and experiences welcome.

TIA

Ive got nothing on the shipping but a suggestion to watch the weather in the Southwest. Summer in some parts of Arizona and Nevada are Very hot June, July and August. Im in Las Vegas and usually head north for long trips in the summer. Spring and fall is optimal riding weather here.

I'm looking at the same but from NE USA back to the PNW. Costs I've seen so far range from $675 to $800 for shipping my bike.
Actually looking for a local shop to take shipment of the bike.

Google motorcycle shipping in the US and you'll get some hits.

Good luck on your trip.

ETA: just quoted your bike from Hartford to Flagstaff....$1046 with Premier. And $925 with 1aamotorcycles.

"This will be the last bike I'll need to buy"...

Wow, what timing! I literally picked up my V-Strom today in the Harrisburg PA area after having it shipped from Washington State (had it shipped from PA to WA earlier this summer).

Check out https://haulbikes.com. They also go by "daily direct", apparently (that's on the side of their trucks). All they do is ship motorcycles, and in my opinion, they do it well.

Take a look at their website for pictures, but their semis are configured to just have motorcycles. IF you can drop off or pick up your bike at one of their 3 national locations (only one in the NE is Harrisburg, PA, but they have one in Las Vegas NV! Might suit your needs), you save ABOUT (don't quote me $150-$200??). Great company. They take video or pictures of your bike with their iPad when you drop it off. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to respond.

Shipping from PA to WA: I dropped off the bike at their PA location and they delivered it to an address of my choosing in WA (a Suzuki dealer with whom I coordinated this, actually). Cost was $499 BUT this included the optional $50 charge for no deductible in case of a damaged bike. Same price going back to PA; they picked up at the dealership and delivered to their PA location in Harrisburg where I picked it up. Actually, I think they gave me a veteran's discount of $50 each time, so I may have only paid $449 each way. So if you ship from an address of your choosing to an address of your choosing, it's @ $200 more each way, I think.

I suggest you call them once you have a general idea of your shipping calendar. Sometimes they book up for bike weeks etc.

Thank you for all the valuable information. I look forward to putting my '04 DL 1000 together and then planning trip next season.
