will shinko 804 fit 2019 650 without riser [temporarily]?

have tires being installed tomorrow but front fender riser hasnt arrived yet.
Will a shinko 804 fit under the stock front fender config without destroying it ?
I will ride the bike home and wait for the riser to arrive before offroading

I don't think it'll be an issue but you could always just remove the front fender temporarily before going to the get tires and leave it off until you get your riser installed.
Gert and vboost like this.

I just looked at my front fender and highly doubt you can ride a stock bike without one. If by some miracle I could figure out how to remove it, I think the hose that crosses the rear of the fender would be problematic

It'll fit fine. Do a Google image search for "shinko 804 v-strom" and you'll find lots of photos showing entirely stock fenders and 804s.

Basically, the carcass of a knobbly tire is a wee bit smaller than other tires; the knobs don't stick out any further than a street tire.

If you plan to take a V-Strom through heavy mud with rocks, then you've taken complete leave of your senses... and yeah, you might want to raise the fender a little to stave off the inevitable disaster for a few extra feet.
