What's a good bang for buck motorcycle battery?

Battery died, unable to recharge. What's a good bang for buck battery? The market it's hard to make sense you got $40 china batteries and you got $200 and everything in between. But who can afford to spend $200 on a battery?

What's the most battery for the least coin, the bang for buck option?

I've used $22 garden Everstart U1 tractor batteries from Walmart on several Guzzi's with great success. They are also a direct swap to my zero turn.

A $22 its a tremendous bang for the buck if you ask me.

The strom battery box is sized where you will need the correct battery dimensions. I would go back with an AGM Yuasa. Enterprise sells a battery with their name on it that is made by Yuasa (exact same case). Either one is around $100.

I go middle of the road. I would not use a lawn mower battery, but I also would not use a Lithium either.

Whatever you use, don't get an old fashion wet cell. If it pukes acid, it will corrode all sorts of important stuff.

Wally Mart battery lasted over 6 years on my Wee Strom. Didn't realize it came from there after i bought a generic at the auto store and pulled it out. Wally Mart was much less expensive too.

Battery died, unable to recharge? Yeah, you need a battery, but...do you know *why* it died? That's what you really need to fix. In fact, if you fix that, you may not need a new battery. (Unlikely, but possible.)

Batteries are somewhat the luck of the draw. I bought a DEKA battery and within a few weeks it would not take or hold a charge. Took it in for a replacement and the second one did the same thing within a couple days. Took it in and got a 3rd and its probably still going.

Oreillys, (and probably other auto part stores too), sell a fully sealed AGM battery. No need to add acid, ready to install without charging. Has big beefy terminals you can really crank down on when tightening the cables. About $85 last time I checked. Part # ETX12.

Unless I simply have to have a battery immediately, I have been going to Battery Mart. Usually have a few to select from. The link is what I throwed in there for my 2012 DL 650. But they have more than about any other source.

Not worth risking a defective cheap battery.

spend the money, get a quality battery and worry free. Know that you won't get stranded while riding. I've gotten cheaper alternative battery that's left me stranded. Ended up paying more.

I would either get a Yuasa or an Odyssey(if they make it for the vstrom).
