So your initiation is to show up at Yellowstone this Thursday evening for rides on Friday and Saturday, followed by tall tales with other Strom miscreants.

If I can ride out from Alabama, it should be nothing for you to head over from Tahoe. 😉

kd70qc- Man I wish I could! I go there almost every Fall for photography. 15 hours from here. Next time I hope. I'm working hard and searching for a new job. Enjoy and ride safe! Watch out for big critters on the roads, and people watching them driving blindly. Thanks for the invite!

Looks like my 2005 DL650. I had it for nine years and miss it a littl bit. Yours looks really well equiped. I expect that windscreen combination works well. Just don't use the stock deathwings! That stock rear tire loves to lock up. Metzler Tourances are a big improvement.

Richlandrick, thanks. It does have most of what I need. Perhaps larger boxes, when the budget permits. I need to look into what i should carry regarding emergency tools, tire patch / inflating, etc. Then i have to learn how to use them!
