Any difference between the 1000 and 650's toolkit?

I just purchased a 2012 DL1000. It has a ton of expensive additions, and I can't wait to hit some national parks with it this summer. The original owner lost the toolkit that came with the bike however, so I was looking at replacing that, but I was only able to find toolkits for the 650 online. Are they the same?

I don't know about the toolkit for the 2012 DL1000 but my DL650 toolkits included a wrench for the rear wheel bolt. That probably wouldn't fit a DL1000.

My 2015 DL1000 toolkit has almost nothing in it. Screwdriver, smaller wrenches, two Allen keys and I think pliers.

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)

That reminds me - I need to put together a 'real' tool kit and keep it in my tail bag

I did the same thing for my ZRX1200.

Thanks for the welcome! I just moved back to Kansas City to study for the bar exam after finishing law school. I'll spend the summer here, then spend August touring and camping on the bike, then move to NYC and never go outside ever again.
