650 folding shift lever.

Hi all, I'm in the market for a folding shift lever/pedal. While it seems there are mixed reviews about the Studebaker unit (bad bushing), has anyone tried this:

On my second one on two Dl's. This one has almost 30k on it and yes the bushings are a little worn but it still shifts fine. If or when it becomes a problem I'll either replace the bushings or buy a new one.

Food for thought- my studebaker just broke yesterday, about 45 miles away from cell service. Luckily I carry lots of heavy duty zip ties and was able to make a temp fix. Bolt snapped off on the linkage arm, with only 6k miles on it too.

I carry a DR lever that's been shortened (it came too long) for emergencies. It will reverse the pattern, but I can live with that.

An update to my situation- I’m all good! Found out the company was only an hour ride from me in Rosalia WA so I called them up, they had the part waiting for me free of charge and I installed it in the parking lot in 15 minutes. Excellent customer service!
