As many of you are aware, I no longer have a Strom so I'm reading fewer posts on the forum.

So I cast around looking for someone else foolish enough to take over - particularly, but not exclusively, on the ANZ forum. After several rejections [smart] from some of you, I suckered Brockie (Ian) into the role.

I'll hang around for a while to help him learn the ropes.

Cheers

Yeah - thanks for that Ron.

Don't they always say "don't volunteer for anything". Never mind. I have been floating around here for a few years and have found the regulars to be a great bunch of enthusists with only the very rare spat.

I'll be hoping to help and not to interfere. I'm not widely experienced with forums but bought my first motorbike in 1967 and except for a very few years in my early 20's have always had one or three in the garage. Dirt bikes, sports bikes, Dual sports and Adventure Tourers.

Ciao everybody
Brockie

p.s. Exactly HOW MANY did you ask before me?

Welcome. I remember when the U.S. Navy had a recruiting campaign that said, "It's not just a job, it's an adventure." That's probably truer here. Moderators get to help people much more than anything else. With a median member age close to 60, there aren't many people looking for trouble and a lot looking to help.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

As a Mod, he gets twice as much as you. As a Super Mod, the figure is 3 times greater!

it just dawned on my what your handle is about, my son is on his 3rd P38, first one got a little deep in water without the proper snorkel, second one got t-boned by someone pulling out onto the street he was driving down. How do you miss a big white Rover ?.
