Iphone mount vibration issue-anyone else had this?

Greetings.

I'm using an Iphone 7 on a RAM mount on my Vee and when listening to Audible, Podcasts, etc the sound skips when I get to freeway speeds (but not before). I also had this same issue on my Iphone 6. It's possible that I am just unlucky and have had back to back defective phones. However I wanted to check and see if anyone else is having this issue. I'm using standard headphones. Thanks.

I don't have my phone on a mount, just in my pocket. I have never experienced digital music skipping though at any speeds.

Picked up similar with my phone to bluetooth speaker. Not when driving but normal connection. Put it down to possible deterioration of the mp3 download. Also have not found the cause.

I also place the iPhone in my top pocket and it plays without any skips.

Try placing it in your pocket and see if the problem disappears.

It's not Siri by any chance, who gets confused with the wind noise and mutes the sound to be able to hear better? Try disabling Siri and see if that helps.

I have an Samsung S8 (and previously a S6) that is on a RAM mount spring loaded crade and never had an issue. I got it up to 130 in TX and my audiobook kept playing

Digital music doesn't skip. :-) But the bluetooth connection certainly will, or Siri (as already mentioned) could be the culprit.

I use a RAM mount on my V2 with an I-phone and android. Never had a skip in three years, but I was using bluetooth through Sena speakers.
