You don't think so? What? You never heard of a Kawasaki Vstrom? I bet you'll say there's no such thing as a Suzuki KLR either!

Lighten up, Francis. If you can't take some sarcasm, an Internet forum is the last place you should be.

Yeah Susuz and Kaw shared a whole lot of tech for a few years back then. That's why I can get filters for my Wee at the local Kaw Power Store.
Some folks never reasearch nuthin'.
My 2003 Kaw ZR7S shared a buncha stuff with the Suzuk bandit, I think. Same wheels, swing arm. probably instruments, brakes etc.

Some of the real small stuff then like a 100 off road kid bike I think were the same but for decal. The 1500 MeanStreak in what ever Suzuki called it? had a head light I liked better but tail part better on the Kaw. Far as I know that was the biggest one they shared. All drive line was Kaw on it.

The owner posted this 3 days ago and no one has told him yet?
You would think that his picture of the wind screen with Suzuki would have been a clue to not miss.
I'll see what he says.

Kind of academic but kawi *did* sell a rebranded V-Strom. I forget the model designation (wasn't called a Strom) but if I'm not mistaken was literally a DL1000 with different badging.

Before y'all get so excited you have to sit on your hands to keep from clapping, there looks to be a problem with that add.

Kawasaki DID sell a KLV 1000 which was our beloved DL 1000 Suzuki. But, Unless I am the one that will be laughed at ( go ahead if I have it coming...) Kawasaki did NOT have a version of the DL 650. Which is in the add....and the Kawasaki KLV did not have the large Suzuki on the windscreen, although there were plenty of Suzuki trademarks/names on it.
