What aluminum is not anodized on the Strom?

Riding up and down PCH with some frequency I'm noticing I already have some light corrosion on the clutch and brake levers. I plan to pull them, polish them and then spray them with a clear coat.

What else on this bike should I be looking at for early corrosion?

The water pump often gets gnarly, especially for those riding on salted roads. The engine case may too if the clear coat is penetrated.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Too bad the 3M paint protection film can't take engine heat . . . or can it?

Eek, another question to annoy me . . .

Ah, just stuff in into a car again and get a new one every couple years!
No maintenance required.
