Givi-Suzuki compatibility

I have a OEM Suzuki Large Top Case (990D0-06G49-YAY) from a previous V-Strom. I just bought a 2006 DL1000 and it comes with the rear carrier but nothing to fix the Top Case.
I found an used GIVI adapter very cheap. Anybody know if the GIVI adapter is compatible with the OEM Luggage?
You can see in the pictures what should be the combination

If the base plate will accept the top box., you just have to bolt the base plat to the rack. I'm mounted a number of JD Whitless boxes to various racks.
Shouldn't be that much different.
A couple bolts and a strap of metal to hold the base to the rack and you are good.

Why you don't try to lock up this top box on Givi mounting plate. I don't think it will fit properly.
