Tank bag quality - Hepco becker vs SW Motech Bags Connection

I have been in the market for a replacement tank bag for some time. I have narrowed it down to the Hepco Becker enduro bag or Bags connection Trial bag. both are about the same size, both have lock ring mounts. The hepco becker uses magnets. I have had issues with SW motech quality and deformation so I am leaning to the enduro bags.

Anyone have the enduro bag that can comment on bag quality?

I would buy the Givi 308, but due to its lack of organizational options on the inside, it's out. I need some interior structure.

How's it working for you so far? Have you gotten a chance to install it yet?

Would love to see a few pics if you got 'em.

Perfect fit on the 650, I love the bag. The magnetic mounting system is awesome. I was a little unsure about little magnets holding it on, but, the bag is more secure on the tank than my old bag. You can not remove the bag without pulling the little mag slide. It's just an excellent idea that works great. The bag is big, fit well, and is very practical and functional. Removing the old bag and mounting up and adjusting the new enduro bag took a whole 30 minutes. I really like the fit and quality.

If the mag click tail bag you have will work with the top box adventure rack I will order that too. I would like to switch between the two. If the mag mounts will still allow the top box to mount that would be the perfect set up.. Great bag and I highly recommend this for the V strom. The mounting system is perfect.

MotoMachines, could you provide me with the measurement from the rack surface to the top of the magnet? This is for the Lock-it Rear Street Softbag for Sportracks, Part Number:640.806 00 01

From the rack surface to the top of the magnet would be just about 5/8ths of an inch. Regarding fitment of that system on the adventure rack you have, it really depends on if the rack has any slotted openings. If you can show the rack from the top, I may be able to gauge that way. If it helps, the mounting holes on the magnetic base for that bag measure 4" apart.

FYI, that 640.806 00 01 Rear Street Softbag has the magnetic mount included with the bag.

Anyhow, glad you like the bag and mounting system! That Enduro bag looks to fit the V-Strom slope pretty well, glad that worked out for you.

Thank you, I will make some measurements tonight. The adv rack does have slots, and it also has small mount brackets that the top box slides into. If my 4 mount brackets stick up more than 5/8 inch it may work. I'll be in touch.
