All over but the crying...

Well, I paid off the bike last week...and it's already starting...bike shopping.

I love the 650, and have no good reason for getting rid of it, and to be honest, would probably regret getting rid of it. BUT DANG...that want for a new bike is powerful stuff.

The V2 is screaming my name!

Selfless, inconsiderate gratification. Happens to the best of us.
Thinking about how much you've spent on the last 5-6 bikes compared to your savings account puts things in perspective.
Then you buy the dang thang anyway.

I always want a new bike, even when I love the one I'm riding. I've never had a bike that I said to myself "aha, this is the one, the one I'll have til the end of my days". I loved the DL650, but didn't have any regrets about trading it for the Super Tenere, and there will come a point (sooner than later) when something replaces the S10. Bikes are awesome, and new bikes are even awesome-er.

It's the one constant for me. I'm looking to find another bike right now. Thinking/looking at Triumph 595T/ 955i.
I'm sure that it won't end till I quit riding. I'll definitely keep the vstrom though.

I've been looking for a plated dirt bike to play on...so that is keeping me occupied for the time being.

You got that right. The total losses from my bike-buying...let's just say it makes me sick.

More so because I'm drawn to the stuff that doesn't appeal to everyone. Like the Honda CB1100. I traded that in; and the bike I bought in trade, I've already sold. That dealer still has that CB in his inventory - even though it's (IMHO) a beautiful bike, and a powerful air-cooled four...Honda couldn't give them away new and now he can't sell that sweet-runner at the same price he bought it from me.

Anyway...a new realization of financial limitations, is probably gonna keep me on the Wee. And it's not a bad place to be stuck.

Every time I buy a new bike I look my wife in the eyes and say, "this is the last one"..... Then we both bust out laughing!

My wife, to her chagrin, has told me "You should buy that." More than once!
