Cant get into my OEM Side Case

Early today I went to open my side case and the lock just turned and I pulled it out of the case completely. Haven't looked into it much but how do I get into it now or when this happens again.

teknoclash, the Cylinder engages a "dog" of some type you SHOULD be able to turn it with a flat tip screwdriver if you can see the inset area or with a small pair of needle nose pliers if its a raised tab...............

I'll give that a try. I know there is a nut that holds the lock in place that has vibrated of. I checked the one on the top case a week ago but didn't get around to the side case's. Should have checked it.

Conclusion

VtSTROM-K5 you were close. There is a plastic lever (dog) connected to the cylinder that is held on by a nut and crush washer. I had to use the short bent end of a allen wrench to push the arm that locks the lid and keeps it closed. Put it back together and checked the other two boxes so that doesn't happen again soon.
