Been there. Part of the vetting process to joining this site should be an assessment of the thickness of one's skin. No less than an inch, I'd say.

I did that once. I couldn't figure out what the woman passenger in the SUV next to me in the other lane was waving and pointing about. I ride a Strom - you know it wasn't the cool bike

Wasn't me, but it looks like something I'd do.

One day on the way home from work it started to downpour. I pulled off the side of the road and put on my rain suit. No big deal, just a little rain (and thunder, and lightening, and flooding). So, when I'm a little more than halfway between where I stopped and home, I noticed that I had forgotten to zip my bag back up (Nelson Rigg soft bags). I had to backtrack through the storm and pick up items as I found them... the last one being about 100 feet from where I had stopped.
Sometimes it sucks to be me. I haven't done it again... yet.

Never done that with side cases, but a few times with the tank bag. Lost my score sheet on a poker run (was doing very well too!). Lost a hat. Lost a pair of gloves. All on separate occasions. :bom_furious3: Zip that effin thing up dummie!!

Close, but no cigar

I've been known to leave the pockets of the jacket I'm wearing unzipped. Waiting to get some where and be missing the cell phone and house keys. That would suck:bom_furious3:

Its either: the journey, the destination, or both. Just remember to have fun.
