Remember to fuse your electric vest

I wired direct to the battery and after 2 years it finally shorted and took out the entire wiring harness. BigSMOKE!!

PSOBTW, I need a wiring harness if you have a spare for a DL-650.

What part of your harness did you destroy, and how? I mean, if your vest was wired directly to the battery, it should have taken out the vest wiring, not the wiring harness, right? Where is the harness damaged?

Well, the best part of all of this is that the contents of the vest didn't go up in smoke, if you catch my drift...!
