Mother's Day Ride

I am so blessed to have a wife that enjoys riding the Strom, 2-Up. After a wonderful breakfast in bed....compliments of our phenomenal kiddos....we geared up and enjoyed about 90 minutes of riding through Black Forest, north of Colorado Springs, CO.

Anyone else do a Mother's Day Ride......????

The Melbourne collective did our second annual Mothers Day run to Mt Baw Baw for lunch covering some 276km in total for me and one (yes one) set of traffic lights 30 metres after the start of the ride.
In all we had 6 Stroms, 2 GS BMW's and 1 DR650. Two of the guys' wives rode as pillions and two others rode their own bikes (1 Strom and the DR).

Took my wife out on our first two up mini trip and generally enjoyed it despite the heavy winds and cooler temps. She did complain about wind buffeting, however I didn't feel all that much After the ride we started talking about new screens and the MadStand. Ah, more toys to dream about.

Glad you all had a good ride. I took my wife for a 3 hour ride also. It was her first time on my new vee, after converting from a Honda interceptor. I am wondering if it might have been a bad thing though, she almost enjoyed it too much. The back roads in southern Ct were just about perfect though. Happy riding....

just give it a little gas, it will be ok !!!
