Easy to forget how great this bike is....

After reading all the complaints that can come about regarding a great bike...ie...windshield sucks....to tall....chutter....can't run my electric blanket and electric cooler....secondaries suck....front end dive....rear spring needs upgrade....etc...I JUST WANT TO SAY HOW MUCH I LOVE MY V-STROM. Yes, I have ridden bikes that are faster, smoother, had adjustable electric windshields, came with a center stand from the factory, came with hard luggage, performed better off road, performed better in the twisties.......I STILL LOVE THIS BIKE...IT DOES WHAT IT DOES SOOO WELL AND I ALWAYS HAVE A SMILE ON MY FACE AFTER A DAY ON THE V-STROM!

Yep, the DL is Stromendous. It's perfect for Stromping along mountain roads, and for the morning Strommute.

It's downright Stromtastic!!

+1,000,000 on everything said above. You know you love to ride this bike when you peel your sore butt off of it at the end of a long weekend of riding, unpack all of the luggage, put away the sleeping bag, hose the dirt off the bike, put it in the garage, then right before closing the garage door, get hit by the bug again, hop back on it and go out to your local favorite road! (happened to me Sunday evening).
