JR Manta tank bag

Hey, has anyone used a JR Manta tank bag? If so, is it possible to fit a sweatshirt in it or is it too small?

I have one and I like it a lot. A sweatshirt would be a very tight squeeze, depending upon the weight of the fabric, but a long-sleeve t-shirt fits just fine.

I found it to be a bit small for most things... it's convenient for taking a few things that you normally keep in your pockets, but after that, you couldn't keep a can of coke in the bag. It is quite small.

Then again, maybe I just have too much stuff in my pockets

I'm kinda torn, I don't need anything too bulky for hauling papers for meetings around between buildings where I work. But this time of year, when the mornings are cool and I wear a sweatshirt under my riding jacket in the mornings, but don't need it in the afternoons, I need some place to put it. But, it sounds like the manta my not fit my needs very well. I did just see a manta xl on ebay that has double the capacity of the regular manta, that may do the trick.

Yeah, I found it's really too small to be functional for most purposes. Even Janice might agree that it would be too small to function even as a purse.

LOL, my friend who went with me to look at them the other day was busting my chops on it being a purse and if I was going to carry my feminine products in it.

Two Mantas

I believe there are two sizes of Manta bags. I have the small one which I like. but it doesn't have a map pocket for Poker Runs etc so I change off occasionally
