Side marker lights (turn signals always on)

I'd like to have the turn signal lights always on and still be able to use them as turn signals.

Anyone do this mod to their vstrom? Anyone know how? Instructions?

Check your state DOT/DMV laws first. It might be illegal on a bike, especially with amber signals.

I got the 3-wire (running light and turn signal) version of the Lockhart Phillips flushmount 3 signals. Two of the wires connect to the turn signal wires just like usual. The 3rd connects to any wire with power when the ignition is on, such as headlights, tail lights, etc. A posi-tap connector works great for that.

You can see the running lights and my diy leds-in-mirrors signals here: https://www.stromtrooper.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=21665

If you are in a shipwreck and all the boats are gone, a piano top buoyant enough to keep you afloat that comes along makes a fortuitous life preserver. But this is not to say that the best way to design a life preserver is in the form of a piano top.
I think we are clinging to a great many piano tops in accepting yesterday's fortuitous contrivings as constituting the only means for solving a given problem." - R. Buckminster Fuller
