Painted My Exhaust Shield Black

Been playin' around with getting the bike to look the way I want it to, again. I painted the exhaust shield black today...

Before...

After...

Nice! What type of paint did you use?

Since the shield is actually made of plastic, I used 'Krylon' spray paint for plastic. I went with a satin finish to match the rims, swingarm, and frame, but I may go to a flat finish to match the lower exhaust shield. I'm not sure, yet.

and you can see the black bolts from ace pre spotty rust

Angrypeppers, I painted mine with Rustoleum Textured black paint. Sanded first with 400 grit wet/dry paper. This paint matches the lower guard perfectly. I left the chrome bolts for a little contrast. Looks great. Greg

Looks great NF. I'd leave it like that. The satin is more easily cleanable than flat. I think the flat paint would look ratty.
