Reflectors on Pelican's - Question

Has anyone here put on the 1 foot lengths of reflective tape/stickers on their pelicans ? If so - any problems with the reflector lifting - or how did you get it to stick so well ?

Now flying the Team Orange colors (yes, I went to the dark Dakar side and bought a KTM...)

I have 3M reflective tape on the pelican cases that are on my KLR and it has held up just fine. Make sure you clean the area with alcohol before you put on the tape and you should be OK.

This is THE stuff to get, 3M Solas tape, Aerostich sells it in short rolls, 2" wide. Cuts nicely with a good scissors, and the stuff screams at night when lights hit it. Neutral light silver color (lighter than it looks in this photo below).

Now that the temps are up, I'm going to apply it to the rear end of my boxes.

I put several different kinds of reflective tape on my Pelicans, prepping with alcohol. They stayed on, but were relatively easy to remove several months later.

Sent from my Hewlett-Packard 75C, using the Flying Merkel motorcycle app.

I *really* like the 3M diamond grade tape. It comes in 4 inch widths. I've used red and white. The 3M Solas tape doesn't match up durability-wise, but is a wee bit brighter when new.

I bought some 3M white in sheets & cut it myself for my pelican top case.

It evens hold up to a crash in a rock filled ditch.

Scotchlite

I used 3M scotchlite, Black. During the day it is black and almost unnoticed. At night it is bright. I bought some pretty cheap off ebay (make sure it is 3m).

Daylight:

Dark out:

Notice that in the daylight photo you can vaguely see the stickers... at night it is very bright, but not as bright as the ADV sticker that is next to them.
