Need help.

I am looking to get a RF-1000 helmet. But I do not know if it will fit well. I have a Scorpion now and I love the fit. Will the RF-1000 fit like a Scorpion? I wonder, is the RF made for the same shape head as the Scorpion? EX. round head round helmet and so on. Anyone have both, maybe some advice?

I would try to find a dealer who carries that helmet and go try it on.

3 things I never by on the net unless I have tried them on someplace else...

Helmets, jackets and boots.

I have an EXO-700 and it fits me well, but the Large is a bit snug at times. I keep trying on the RF-1000 whenever I go to a motorcycle store. I think the fit is pretty good, though it feels way different around the ears and cheeks. Also, a Large RF-1000 may be too small for me. An XL feels much better, but I'm not sure if it's too loose. It'd definitely work better with my winter head cover.

Not sure any of this helped you

I went from an RF-900 to a Scorpion EXO-400, both XL, and found very little difference in fit. I'm not sure I could tell them apart if I put them on blindfolded.

I've gone to bike stores and tried on helmets until I had cauliflower ears, but only Shoei (RF-series) and Scorpions work for my melon.
