A recent study by yours truly indicates that yellow Vees are the fastest, easiest to see & pull the most chicks.

Talk amongst yourselves.

My Opinion:
Vee or V= DL1000 before 2014
Vee2 or V2 = DL1000 2015 to 2019
Vee3 or V3 = DL1050 2020 to?

My Stroms:
2006 DL650: 202,000 km 125,500 miles, Sold
2012 DL650 139,500+ km, 86,700+ miles. Sold
2015 DL1000 New July 2015 205,000+ km, 127,000+ miles.

This can help preventing from cars pulling out in front of you (SMIDSY)

It wasn't the forum. It was me. Just because you're bored doesn't mean you get to bore everybody else. Let's make titles descriptive enough so people can decide whether they want to look.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
See https://www.stromtrooper.com/general...nicknames.html

Please vote in the poll on what Strom(s) you have at https://www.stromtrooper.com/informa...-you-have.html

It would be a blast to meet at the Bonneville Salt Flats (in Utah) and play around with Vees and Wees and see who is fastest. Everybody puts $100 in the kitty and the winner in each class takes all. Pretty cool. Now, nobody has been bragging about having the fastest bike, except for the yellow ones. (They do look fast!) So I'm not pointing any fingers when I use the following quote that we used to use when racing RC airplanes and someone was going on and on about their design or modification: The bullsh*t stops when the green flag drops.

And everyone knows that RED is fastest anyway. (BTW I know it and my 2012 DL650 is Black. That's because I'm not fast.)

Well I suppose if you have the power to make that decision them I would humbly request you edit my material so it still comes across as intended. In this case the thread title was part of the first sentence. Your edit, unfortunately, distorts that.

Thank you.

Guess there is some truth to the stereotype about Vstrom riders as posted in the "drunk rider down" thread? I'll keep that in mind for future reference. You're welcome.

Yellow is not only the fastest, but the prettiest.

You know, everyone could just save their travelling money and send me the prize cash. It would save a lot of time and effort just to be outridden by a girl on a yellow bike.
