2 up seat?

I have an 08 Wee. My wife just sold her 09 and we might do some 2 up riding.I used the search function and read many pages about aftermarket seats. Very few talk about 2 up. The Russell gets very good reviews, however one fellow several years ago says his wife has problems with the wings on the seat. The saddlemen also gets good reviews but again no comments about passengers. I have a Vee seat on my Wee and it works for solo but I am pushed into the tank when the wife is aboard. Suggestion, observations, recommendations etc appreciated. Robfilms, how you liking my wife's exWee?

My wife loves our Russell. When I had it made the passenger part was custom made for her just as the front part was custom made for me so the fit is perfect.

Just following the Russell instructions for ordering a seat. They want very specific photos, dimensions, weights, etc. By the time you have filled out the questions and taken the required photos they have a very clear idea of how to build the seat for you.

Just FYI: I ordered my Seat Concepts seat with the extra-firm foam because I am a large hairy galoot (see photo above), yet I have a bony ass.

It's perfect for me, but my wife is NOT AT ALL happy with the hard foam on the passenger section. As is common amongst the fairer gender, she weighs a lot less than her gorilla-like mate yet has a, um, er, better sculpted tail section. (I'm trying to be delicate here, dammit.)

I asked Seat Concepts if maybe they could sell me a softer passenger section. Perhaps if a rider section got messed up in production, they could saw off the back and send it my way...?

They essentially passed out laughing, but I still think dual foam would be a very good idea.

If you're getting a Seat Concepts kit and you want your passenger to be happy, you might want to lean toward the softer foam if you're not sure.

My wife loves her portion of our Russell 2-up seat. Back-to-back 300 mile days have been no problem so far. We custom ordered it just as was already mentioned.

two up seat

Hi I bought the terry adcox seat.
I bought is specifically for two up, as my GF found the stock to be terrible.
went for 450k today (325miles) all good super comfortable for her and for me.
doesn't have the wings on the passenger seat.
great purchase and great value.

Yes got the double bucket.
pretty amazing for the price. I am very happy with the comfort and the look and finish as well.
I had a corbin before on my last bike, this is way more comfortable for the passenger.
