2012 vs 2014 wee Strom

Hello guys,

Finally ready to pull the trigger and get a new 'storm. My question is, are there any major changes between the 2012 and the 2014 Adventure models and what are they? I need to get back to my dealer in two days, so time is of the essence. Any comments would be most appreciated. Thanks...

Jeff By the way, I'm in Akron, Ohio and have tent space, garage and tools, and even a spare bedroom for overnighters. Contact me if you are passing through...

There are no significant changes. Color is about it.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

My understanding is the only difference is color. 2012s are black, 2013+ are grey. Well, that and base MSRP has crept up.

One of the dealers near me still has a new 2012 sitting on the floor for a pretty good price.

2012 for sure. O.K. one downside, IFF you swap bikes often resale will be lower.
