Oil filters cheap

Look up item number 120912356119 on ebay.

These appear to be OEM oil filters for $3.90 each and free shipping. DL650 and DL1000 compatible.

I ordered a few to try.

It's a Hi-Flo HF138, not OEM. Do not try two turns on it to install. The late, great John Weldon has marked it approved after cutting one open and checking.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

The same seller has 4 of the filters for $5.55 delivered - very cheap but suspect of the quality.
1+ on seeing the results of one being cut open.

Yeah, I'd be leery that it was actually a counterfeit Hiflo...or damaged or other problem. Way too cheap. I'll pinch different pennies, not oil filter costs.

Yes an oil filter is not a place to take chances on. Something less critical yes.
