Replace my signals & brakes with led?

Was thinking about switching signals and brake lights with LEDs. The stuff I read wasn't convincing, many said that it was disappointing. So I tried a suggested alternative (screen shot of a video )

Looks good in the garage but how do they perform out in the sunlight? I've tried the tinfoil trick, but this time I painted the insides of the housings with a very bright white paint. Marginally brighter than stock, but not much.

Ya, don't know yet. I was tempted to take out my bike today.......^€*^<<%#%. 19 out and I gotta bad ass cold . Maybe if I feel better tomorrow I'll get all dressed up and try out all my heated gear and cold weather gear and pretend Iam up on the north slope. Can't be any worse than snowmobiling when it's -20. won't be any warmer Sunday. It's supposed to be in the 40s this time of year for us.

That's a common mod, really works well. I also replaced the stock bulbs with brighter ones. they are halogen or xenon, can't remember. But brighter. I still want more, especially in the rear. It's the one you don't see that kills you.

Done the same. Its a lot brighter! Used the thicker single use Aluminum baking sheet material. Being coated it has held the shinyness (is that a word??) well so far for several years.
