Ordered some Oxford Heaterz today

I have some heated grips on my bike now made by a German company (Saito). The controller bike mount broke a few years ago when i dumped the bike. I made a replacement holder for it out of aluminum, a hose clamp and some Velcro, but last year i noticed the Low and High settings on it no longer worked, only the "Start" setting which is high draw and is supposed to be used only for a few minutes at a time otherwise it can burn out the elements. Kind of a pain to deal with.

I considered buying the same brand as before just to get the same controller and mount, but they wanted a lot of money for them (19% VAT included) and shipping was 18 pounds from Germany. Replacements were a lot cheaper here.

I had a look at several of the Oxford Heaterz models which seemed to have good reviews generally. The different models of these seem to vary in price with very little differences. I ordered the "Sport" model rather than the "Touring" model and saved almost $20. The only difference i could see is the two have different grip patterns on the handles. I will be covering these with Grip Puppies anyways.

What i am really hoping for is that my existing grips will work with the new controller, then the install will be quick and painless, also i won't have to buy another set of grip puppies. I just installed these ones..
