I'm curious to find out if the Givi V46 topcase has any room for adjustment so that my passanger will not have her space cramped by the case being too up close and personal. Any information will be received with glee - yes, I said glee!

The Givi mounting rack has some adjustability if you turn the brackets backwards (the instructions have them the other way)

Thanks! I just checked out Motostuff's adjustable mount. I wonder if the $121 buys one the top section shown in the photo, the bottom plate, or both? If it's only the bottom plate, I believe one could be machined in the shop with a piece of flat metal and a drill press!

Guess I'll just have to get mine in and see what's up...

When I moved from the Concours to the Strom for 2-up riding the wife felt a little pushed forward by the Givi. Taking the back pad off the Givi solved the problem. Since she always wears a jacket with a back protector she didn't miss it.

Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. I'm curious, did you affix the rack as described in the instructions, or did you turn the mounting brackets around as dakjedip expressed above?

I was aware of the "turn the bracket around" idea before I bought the Givi mount rack for my Strom. Interestingly, the factory instructions that came with the Givi mount rack I bought already showed installing the subject bracket in the rearward position to allow the most passenger room. No back pad on my Givi E460 topcase, it is positioned perfectly for my wife as a backrest and she is very comfortable with it as is.
