What to clean chain oil off wheels?

I've been using the aerosol Suzuki brand chain lube and it's gotten all over the sprocket and rear wheel. It is nasty with a consistency like tree sap.

What is good for cleaning this stuff off? I thought about Greased Lightning but I wasn't sure how safe it was for the painted wheels.

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is probably the best non solvent method.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.

I started using Champion Chain Lube about 2 yrs ago and I love it. It never drys and cleaning is as simple as a dry rag on the chain. Over spray on other parts requires a little kerosene on a rag and it comes right off. After several applications even the sprockets clean off with a dry rag.

Surprisingly, WD40 works AWESOME... And, you probably already have it anyways.

I use HONDA Spray Polish for a lot of things, including cleaning the chain lube off the wheel, paint, plastic, etc.

I use a sheet of cardboard to keep it off the wheels to begin with. WD-40 for what gets by my cardboard.
