Am I overreacting or what?

The other day leaving from work to ride my '08 650 home, a workmate hopped on my bike, started it, stalled it, restarted it, revved the engine and took off in the parking lot. I didnt even have time to say anything. I was pissed.

I had been riding 4 hours previously so it wasn't a completely cold start (it was 65 F) out. Should I be pissed? Could there be any damage done?

I doubt any damage was done to your bike, but you certainly aren't overreacting.

TOTALLY agree! Though I would add that the bike was not a willing participant in the event and leave the implications of that to the reader.

As for the workmate, destroy him, by any means necessary. He's earned it.

Don't leave the keys in your bike when you get off.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Just another " bike is fine" (not that I approve of his treatment and lack of respect of someone elses property) and you are not over reacting! Have had a similar experience a time or two.
