2008 GSX650 Will it replace the Wee?

Was browsing Suzuki website and seen this upcoming for 2008. It's a 4-stroke bike with upright sitting position. A bit more sporty then Wee and the seat does not look like it can be used for all day but nether the Wee's stock seat gave me any pleasure in that. This bike should be around 80HP , seat 2 inches lower to the ground. With that it will still be low insurance premium.
What you guys think about this one? Looks like a great commuter to me.

It's basically a Bandit 650 (which has been available in Europe & Canada for a couple of years) with a full faring.

Looks like you are right. The only other thing that this will be FI vs carb for Bandit.

Actually, the Bandit 650 is fuel injected. I haven't seen any reviews, but I think the new GSX650F will be a great bike. I don't understand why Suzuki doesn't offer the Bandit 650 here.

Its about 80lb more then the Wee, dry! I like the styling of the Virsys more. I think 650's duals are comming in, in a big way.

I thought long and hard about it before I got my VFR. It has a lot of the things I was looking for, but I finally decided I didn't want something the first year it came out. It should be a great bike though, and I want to see one in person.

Thumbs down

ick.

It looks too sport bikish for me. I don't care what anybody says, I like the way my bike looks!

GSX650F is a 650 cc inline 4 cylinder liquid cooled motor. Kind of a lower tuned, but bigger 600 supersport motor. Perhaps a bit more torque, but still one that has to rev prior to hitting the powerband.

The GSX1200F is the model for the old 1200 cc Bandit and I do believe GSX1250F is the model for the new 1250 cc Bandit.

The two bikes, GSX650F and DL650 are very different bikes and fit very nicely in the Suzuki lineup together.

I don't think Suzuki will be shooting themselves in the foot by getting rid of the "Wee"-Strom for many years.
