wee is no longer an offroad virgin

A buddy I work w/ just bought his son a Honda CRF50. He had mentioned to me that he didn't have anywhere for him ride nor did he have anything to ride on w/ him. So I suggested that he should come get my DR350 and we would all go to the Patterson Mountain OHV trail in the Jefferson National Forest. We had a blast!!!! His son had only ridden in open fields before and was quite a bit nervous at first but after the first 50 yards on the trail we couldnt get him to stop. I must admit that I was a little nervous myself but the wee held its own through the entire day. I wasn't able to ride as aggressive as I can on my DR but I was supprised at how nimble the wee was through the more technical parts of the trail. Not to mention the fact that I still have the stock tires on it!!! Any way, here are a few pics of our outing.

That looks like fun but not on the honda 50 for me

There's a great myth about off road and the need for the latest knarliest bike.
While I was still working and using a supplied bike (:mrgreen I used to ride those trails on an older model BMW K1000. Never a problem

I'm not always sarcastic.
Sometimes I'm facetious.
Or ironic.....
