No problems yet but no idling in stopped traffic in hot weather either. I don't expect any problems delivering power as it has plenty of capacity for full heated gear when the air temperature is cold. It's hot weather with little to no air flow where I have some concern.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

Please vote in the poll on what Strom(s) you have at

I've got one too, but only have about 50 miles on it due to recovering from tendonitis in my clutch hand. So far so good.

Stopped traffic is not much of a problem here 'cause we can lane split.

One more

I put one on a week or two ago. I've had it in stopped traffic, but only put maybe 150 miles on it so far. Since it's been cold here I haven't been worried about excess heat yet. It's in the stock location and I've been considering ways to get some more air flow to it but I've not settled on anything yet.

In fact I'm open to suggestions. I'm considering cutting some of the tail plastic in that area to open it up. I do have wet weather reservations with that idea. I'm also considering a small cooling fan possibly from a computer processor or something. But like I said I'm open to suggestions.
