I've tried many times every days wince Monday to log on and it's not happened yet. I thought the site was down. Finally had the time to log on at home...I've got lots of catching up to do, as well as install my pipe I received from a forum member

Your work may be different than mine, but ours won't allow this forum through the firewall. Continuously flagged as "suspicious" and/or "dangerous".

Hmmm, Jax? NMCI has recently blocked the folks here at Pax River from accessing the local forums, looks like it might be bigger than that. Me, I'm off base, thank goodness.

I always see stuff on forums about people being "at work"... what the hell are you doing here AT WORK, and does your boss know he's PAYING you to waste company time?

Sorry, but am I the only one that thinks this is BS? Get back to work ya lazy asses

I'm paid for my knowledge and expertise, not my production output. I have no idea why my employer re-coded this forum as a security risk when I still have adventure rider open all day . But, my employer appreciates your concern. As for being a lazy xxx, you can kiss it

Always amazes me how many folks wanna play on the computer at something other than work while at work. It's only 8 hours folks. I'm glad to see businesses put up fire walls and such. I hated when the other supervisors would give some of their work to do and find out they had been pissing away their day surfing the net rather than doing business.
Kinda like texting and driving. Work and play, they don't mix when you are being paid.
I'm with MiteyF on this one.

Internet use is OK for us at break time, lunch time, and during looooong computer-run tests that the operator has to sit and do nothing for several hours at a time. We are all experts at cross-word puzzles, soduko, comic books, motorcycle and gun magazines and lurid romance novels.
