Ahhh - My first ride! Awesome!!!!

Tonight I got geared up and went for my first ride. Man what fun! The Wee rides so nice and.... it was 65 degrees! Perfect!! I stopped by a friends house tonight. Now he lives in his garage. Very clean and tidy. I pull in and he and his wife are watching TV. Yep - its more of a family room garage!

Anyhow, I pulled right into the garage and he had no idea who it was until I took off my helmet. He was surprised at the Wee. He thought I was looking for a cruiser and I was but....

So we spent some time going over the bike he was amazed at how advanced it is and he thought it was a real cool ride. I think he wants one! I'll let him ride it one of these days!

Congrats on your ride. The newness has yet to wear off for me. Enjoy!

That's a cool story. A new bike really feels wonderful doesn't it.

Just watch out you don't get over confident with it. Your on two wheels and it takes many years to master.

Ride safe.

Good to hear, and the best thing is that it will just keep getting better and better the more you ride it.

I've had mine just on a year now, and it still gives me a big smile every time I jump on for a ride.

Congrats on the new ride; that "new-bike" feeling is hard to beat, for sure. The Strom (either size) is an awesome bike. My '07 Vee sees quite a bit more use than does my '02 Wing; the Vee is just more fun to ride, even if it is a bit less comfortable.

If it does wear off, just park it for a week or so. Regenerates every time.

I just returned from a 4700 mile ride over 3 weeks on my 2012. Took it easy, spend multiple days here and there. Absolutely no problems with the bike, nice and comfortable for me and really enjoyed it. If you ever get the itch for a longer ride, this is also the bike for you. Proper gear, riding defensively and not pushing the bike beyond your abilities are key to enjoying the bike for a long time.

This Saturday will be my 4 week anniversary with my Strom. Today I passed 1200 miles. Most of that was commuting to work. So far I love it. In 5 weeks we could be buried under snow so I need to get it all in now.

I've had mine over 3 years now, and every time I head out the driveway, it feels like a new adventure always awaits.....
