Qwi gloves and

I must share my experience with the folks at Qwi gloves.

For those who are unfamiliar, these gloves were designed by a Doc who wanted to relieve irritation to the nerves that pass from the wrist into the hand (can't recall the medical names right now). I have a good friend who is having wrist pain and needs to "shake out" his left hand when riding, every 10 minutes or so. I bought 2 pair and gave him one for xmas.

So, on a recent ride, at an ice tea stop with some buddies, I inadvertantly dropped one of them from my duffle before continuing the ride. (I was wearing a different pair). I got home and there was only a right glove. Bummer. By the way, these are generously cut and very supple gloves - for anyone.

I decided to contact Qwi in case they had any odd gloves laying around and would feel sorry for me....
Within an hour I got an email back from Qwi's VP saying how it sucks to loose a glove and that they DID in fact have an odd missing mate to mine and were going to send it.... today.
How's that for empathy and understanding?

I've been using a Qwi glove for almost two seasons now. It's sun bleached, ran black dye like crazy when I washed it, doesn't have much (if any) protection/armor and leaves a circle tan on my hand if the velcro isn't positioned properly - but I won't ride without them.

I went back to my old glove once and after 10 minutes couldn't feel my right hand. Probably my best riding investment second to the bike.
