Finally did the TBS

Figured it was time to do after reading so much about it and how it was such a large issue that needed to be done with scheduled maintenance. My 2012 DL1000 had no bad run issues with 4k on it,but I said what the heck time to check so I built the yard stick manometer that MightyShep and Big B come up with and hooked it up after warming the bike up to 3 bars and turning the idle up to 1500 rpm.Rite off there was a 10 in. diff in vacuum reading so I reached in and turned the screw cw whitch sent atf over the top and headed for a TB,not sure whitch one so I shut it down and turned it ccw, fired it up only to have it be just as bad in the other direction.About the time I was getting close the rear cyl spit the TB out of its boot with a loud pop so off comes the tank to reboot and do a secondary sync while I was in there,it was dead on by the way,Got it all back together and finally got the atf doing a harmonic dance side by side on the stick, dabed a little paint on the screw, let it dry and then test rode.Bike does run better and I got an education in TBS.For those first time doers be aware that is one sensitive little screw and a little dab will do ya when it comes to adjusting it.
