Southern Oregon Strommers

I know I'm not the only Strom owner around here. I see them all the time. In fact I just saw a Blue strom in my town of Rogue River today at around 4:15pm. Am I the only one to find this site from around here? Please speak up and be heard. I would like to start a chapter here to meet and do rides and cool stuff with other strommers.

Dann

Have a nice day, unless you planned otherwise...

Gold Beach

We rode to Gold Beach to see where my family came from. The hotels on each side of the river had 20 to 40 bikes in the lots. Most were Gold Wings. I was surprised at how many bikes were in this town. I figure it most of them were following the scenic 101 route up the coast to beat the heat.

Hey, I was just in your neck of the woods the other day. I took I-5 to Medford, then went through Crater Lake to 138, then 97 to the Sprague River cutoff and over to Lakeview. It was a great ride!!

Just back from a ride to N.E. Oregon........around the John Day River Area....
Boy do I got a endless sweeper turn ride for you if you ever take a trip up in that corner of Oregon. Look on a map just southwest of Baker City....rte. 245 to the town of Unity go south to Eldorado Pass, then trace that little black line around two wilderness areas all the way to Seneca. All paved!
I hail from Medford, and hope to do a ride with you some day.

Yeah, I've checked it out a few times. I'm hoping to get a network like that down here. I noticed most of the riders in that section are in the Porland area and to the North. Unfortunatly that would be a 3 hour + ride each way to get up there. Not bad for a 3 or 4 day weekend, but not good for a day trip. BTW last weekend I was in Cave Junction and saw a restaraunt named NACHO MAMAS. LMAO thought of you. Next time I go that way I'll bring my camera and take a pic for you.

I wish I could tell you, but the route we took was the one around the western side of the lake... I assume you're asking about the one along the eastern side. It's been a pretty warm couple of weeks, though, so I'd be surprised if any of the roads around there were still closed due to snow.
