Assuming the bikes have the usual cheap flasher units, the LED's probably won't draw enough current to operate them properly. So you'll need to swap in a specific LED flasher unit. Or you can put a parallel resistor in to up the current draw. And since the flasher units are not DOT-approved with the LED's, technically your bike is no longer street legal, if your local LEO's ever get around to checking.

I'm really happy with these. 1156 LED Bulb - Single Intensity 3 x 1.3 Watt High Power LED | LED Brake Light, Turn Light and Tail Light Bulbs | LED Car Bulbs | Super Bright LEDs

A little pricey but much more visible than stock or other LEDs I've tried. Seems like you want between 3-4 watts to be effective. See if your locator pins are straight across or offset first. I think later bikes have offset pins like my '09 Wee. I just gently ground one off each bulb and they work fine. No problems in 8k miles.

You'll also need an LED flasher. I've seen plug and play models on Ebay for cheap.
