New Strom Owner

Hello everyone! I've just picked up a new-to-me '06 650, with a nice complement of farkles, but is lacking a couple of key farkles, like a fork brace, and updated fork internals, shock, brake lines, etc.

I've wanted to acquire one of these for quite some time and am glad to have finally got my hands on one. I am the third owner, and the bike has *just* shy of 20k showing on the odometer. Tires were needing replacement, so I got a set of Dunlop TR-91s, but otherwise, the bike was in need of nothing, and had been taken very good care of.

I'm primarily a sport bike guy, and road race at local tracks. I was lucky to have parents who were into motorcycles, so I literally was born with handlebars in my hands, and have ridden everything I could climb aboard.

My other bikes include: 2008 CBR1000RR, 1996 Honda RS125R, 1985 Yamaha RZ350 (not running -yet), 1985 Honda VF500F (needs countershaft bearing & seal), and 2001 Honda XR100R

I'm very much looking forward to adventures that include the Wee Strom, and also look forward to interacting with and meeting members of this group!

Hola, you've got nice canyons to ride in your back yard! I frequently do the Canyon Country roads to pass some time leaned over.

Thanks all! notacop - I get out to as many roads as I can, time dependent. I've covered a fair majority in Ca., and ridden cross country a few times, as well as several years spent on the east coast. Roads in all regions have their own character & personality
