New Bike...New Tattoo...Clutch Basket...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got a Grey 03 DL1000 with 4k miles...I like it alot...tried it off road yesterday with the new crash bars/skid plate...10 feet later...crashed...bent the skid plate and right side bar...scraped up the plastic and broke off the foot break lever...needless to say I think I will stick to the KLR off road...anyway...here's my clutch basket...

So. Is that the basket from the KLR or the Strom?

And is that a KLR "Doo-Hicky" above it?

I always hear the phrase, "Why would anyone put art on their body they wouldn't dare hang on their wall?" - but to each their own.

Cheers,

It is a "Doohickie" from a KLR. Not stock though. They are made from two pieces and are welded quite poorly. One of the many issues with that part. Fortunately the V-Strom does not have one of those installed!

Probably a picture of one of EagleMike's aftermarket "Doohickies" as it is made from a single piece of machine tool steel. All EagleMike does is remove all the parts that don't resemble what a good "Doohickie" should look like!
